Our level two drag racing kits offer stiffer springs to maximize stored energy for weight transfer. What if the vehicle has been heavily modified from its original weight? No problem. These kits are also offered without shocks and struts to give you the flexibility to order the shocks or struts with the spring rates you want. Spring rates are carefully selected to maximize performance while maintaining a smooth, comfortable ride. They are geared towards
average weight small block and LS powered vehicles with stock trim. Where applicable, our handling kits offer springs that are optimized for cornering
performance while spring rates in our drag kits were chosen to maximize stored energy for weight transfer.

What if the vehicle has been heavily modified from its original weight or has another engine? No problem. These kits are also offered without
shocks to give you the flexibility to order the shocks or struts with the spring rates you want. If you feel that you need a different shock/strut and spring rate than the one that comes with the inclusive kit please call the tech line (952-985-5675) to get the correct shock and spring rate combo for your application. Check out this QA1 (DK21-FMM2) Level 1 Drag Racing Suspension Kit with Shocks for your 1979-1993 Mustang! The Front Non-Coilover Struts are designed to be used for 1979-1993 Mustangs. The R Series Front Struts are designed specifically for Drag Race Applications. The Front Drag Race R Series Struts have 18 different valving options so the customer can finely tune the front suspension on their Mustang. The Drag Race Front Struts have an extended height of 19.31” and a compressed height of 13.07”. The Front Drag Racing Front Struts feature a high-quality DOM Smooth Steel Body. The Front Strut has a quick and easy external dial-in adjuster, making adjustments quick and hassle free. Once the Front Drag Racing Struts are constructed, they are then powder coated in a durable silver finish.

The Rear Stocker Star Rear Shock is designed to be an upgrade for 1979-1993 Mustangs. The Stocker Star Rear Shock has a Twin-Tube Internal Design, making them ideal for Drag Race Applications. The Rear Stocker Star Shocks are Single Adjustable Shocks that have 18 valving options. The different valving options allow the customer to finely tune the rear suspension. The Rear Shock is constructed from lightweight billet aluminum with a smooth body. The Rear Shocks feature an eyelet end and a stud end, this is the same as the factory rear shock for the 1979-1993 Mustang. QA1 includes polyurethane bushings with this pair of shocks. The Rear Shocks have an extended height of 20.50” and a compressed height of 13.00”.

This Rear Sway Bar from QA1 is constructed from heavy duty solid-core 1045 cold formed steel. The 1045 Cold Formed Steel is used for maximum strength. The rear Drag Racing Sway Bar is precision CNC formed to ensure proper fitment for a true bolt-on installation. This Rear Sway Bar includes adjustable end links so the customer can finely tune the rear suspension on their Fox Body Mustang. Once the Rear Sway Bar is fully constructed it is then Powder Coated in a Gloss Black Finish. QA1 includes a pair of greaseable graphite polyurethane Bushings, U-Bolts and high-quality plated hardware.

The Rear Lower Control Arms are constructed from 0.120” Wall Cold Rolled Boxed Tubing for Maximum Strength and flex elimination. The Rear Lower Control Arms feature fluted, greaseable polyurethane bushings, which are superior to the stock rubber bushings. The Rear Lower Control Arms are greaseable on each side this allows the customer to due routine maintenance to the Rear Lower Control Arms. The Polyurethane Bushings will eliminate bushing bind, allowing the suspension to move smoother for better control. This keeps the tires planted firmly on the ground for improved traction and a more predictable, better handling Mustangs. The Rear Lower Controls Arms are powder coated in a Gloss Black Finish.

The Rear Upper Control Arms are constructed from 1-1/4” diameter Aircraft Aluminum. On the body side of the Rear Upper Control Arms have spherical rod ends, this allows the customer to finely tune the pinion angle on their Mustang while still on the vehicle. The Spherical Rod Ends include grease fittings for easy routine maintenance. QA1 includes a pair of Rear End Bushings that install in the rear end housing. The Rear End Bushings are constructed from polyurethane and will eliminate bushing bind, allowing the suspension to move smoother for better vehicle control. Once the Rear Upper Control Arms are constructed, they are then Finish in a Bright Red Anodized Finish. All the necessary mounting hardware is included for installation.
