Choose between three different levels of performance and get easy, bolt-in installation that seamlessly works with whatever OE component each piece attaches to. Don’t want to make the investment right away? No problem. You can build your car in stages, using our parts list as a road map to get to the level of performance you want and have the peace of mind knowing you won’t have compatibility issues. These kits include spring rates carefully selected to maximize performance while maintaining a smooth, comfortable ride. They are geared towards average weight vehicles with stock trim. Our level three handling kits offer stiffer springs to maximize cornering performance. If your vehicle has been heavily modified from its original weight, it’s no problem. These kits are also offered without shocks and struts to give you flexibility to make your order with the spring rates you want. Please note when ordering the handling kit without shocks, it will also not include springs, spanner wrenches or thrust bearing kits.

Spring rates are carefully selected to maximize performance while maintaining a smooth, comfortable ride. They are geared towards
average weight small block and LS powered vehicles with stock trim. Where applicable, our handling kits offer springs that are optimized for cornering
performance while spring rates in our drag kits were chosen to maximize stored energy for weight transfer.

What if the vehicle has been heavily modified from its original weight or has another engine? No problem. These kits are also offered without
shocks to give you the flexibility to order the shocks or struts with the spring rates you want. If you feel that you need a different shock/strut and spring rate than the one that comes with the inclusive kit please call the tech line (952-985-5675) to get the correct shock and spring rate combo for your application. Treat your 1990-1993 5.0L Mustang to this QA1 (HK23-FMM2) Level 3 Handling Suspension Kit with Pro-Coilovers! QA1 Tubular K-Member is made from HSLA steel, which is a high strength, low alloy steel. This K-member comes in a sleek black powder-coated, high gloss finish. This K-member is 50 percent lighter than the factory K-member and is made in the USA. QA1 designed the lower control arm brackets to be raised, which corrects roll center when your Mustang is lowered. This K-member also maintains optimum anti-dive geometry with minimized bump steer issues. Ideal for street performance and autocrossing applications, this K-member gives you the ability to change the steering geometry with stainless steel steering rack relocation inserts. You can choose to run the steering rack in the stock location, or raise the rack for maximum performance.

The Front Double Adjustable Pro-Coilovers feature a Twin-tube style strut with a threaded sleeve body. The threaded sleeves allow the collar to adjust the ride height on your 1990-1993 Mustang. The Front Pro Coilovers come with 200lbs springs that are 2” in Diameter. The Front Coilovers have an extended length of 20.87” and collapsed length of 14.62”. The Double Adjustable Struts have 18 clicks of compression and 18 clicks of rebound adjustments so the customer can finely tune the front suspension on your 1990-1993 Mustang. Once the Strut Body is fully constructed it is then powder coated in a Silver finish.

The QA1 Handling Kit includes a Pair of Caster Camber Plates. The Caster Camber Plates are designed to help adjust the Caster and Camber on your Mustang after you lower it. The Caster Camber Plates are a two-piece design, this makes adjusting the Caster and Camber simple and straight forward. The Caster Camber Plates are constructed from heavy gauge aluminum and feature a bearing housing that is Tig-Welded to the main plate to increase the strength and performance. The Caster Camber Plates are proudly made in the USA!

The Front Lower Race Control Arms will reduce unsprung weight while improving weight distribution in race applications. QA1 Mustang tubular control arms require the use of QA1 coil-over struts. QA1 caster camber plates are recommended. Get a substantial weight savings of 15 lbs.. The Tubular Front Lower Control Arms are built with rod ends, this allows the customer to finely tune the alignment specs for their Mustang.

The QA1 Front Sway Bar is constructed from Lightweight Hollow-Core 4130 Chromoly Steel for maximum strength and durability. The CNC formed Sway Bar will ensure a precision fitment for a true bolt-on installation. The Front Sway Bar includes adjustable end links for fine tuning of the roll stiffness. Also included with this Front Sway Bar is a pair of greaseable graphite polyurethane bushings. Once the Front Sway Bar is fully constructed it is then powder coated in a gloss black finish to help mimic the other QA1 Suspension products.

The Rear Double Adjustable Pro-Coilovers feature a Double adjustable aluminum shock that is specific to the Mustang, along with the Springs and all necessary mounting hardware. The Double Rear Shock provides 18 positions of compression adjustment and 18 positions of rebound adjustment, for a total of 324 possible valving combinations. The Rear Shock has a fully threaded body allowing for ride height adjustability. The Rear Coilover kit includes 130lbs. rate spring with a 2” diameter body. QA1 includes polyurethane bushing to reduce the movement on the Rear Coilover assembly. The Coilover Assembly is a performance upgrade that bolts in the factory location. The Rear Coilover is proudly made in the USA.

The QA1 Rear Sway Bar is constructed from heavy duty solid-core 1045 cold formed steel for maximum strength. The Rear Sway Bar is precision CNC formed to ensure proper fitment for a true bolt-on installation. The Rear Sway Bar includes adjustable end links, so the customer can finely tune the Rear Sway Bar. QA1 also includes a pair of greaseable graphite polyurethane bushings. Once the Rear Sway Bar is fully constructed it is then powder coated in a gloss black finish.

The Rear Upper Control Arms are constructed from Aircraft Aluminum that includes adjustable rod ends. The Adjusting Rod is 1-1/4” in diameter that is a hex style design that allows the customer to adjust the upper control arm with a Wrench. The Rod Ends are greaseable, this will prevent the Rod End from making noise. With the Upper Control Arms being double adjustable, adjustment can be made on the vehicle. QA1 also includes new rear end bushings that will eliminate rear end flex. Grade 8 mounting hardware is also included.

The Rear Lower Control Arms are constructed from .120” wall cold rolled steel for maximum strength and flex elimination. QA1 installs Polyurethane Bushing on both ends which allows the Rear Lower Control Arms to move smoothly. The Lower Control Arms are fluted, greaseable polyurethane bushings, which are superior to the stock rubber bushings. QA1 welds Rear Sway Bar mounts so the customer can install the aftermarket QA1 Rear Sway Bar. The Lower Control Arms are powder coated in a durable Black finish.
