Complete Conventional Coil Spring Suspension Package


This is one of our two ‘’complete conversion’’ kits. This will supply you with all parts and hardware needed to completely convert your vehicle from the existing O.E. suspension to the late model rack and pinion. This swap will greatly improve handling, braking, and will help solve clearance issues associated with installing larger V-8 engines into these shock tower vehicles. All that is left for you to supply is a disc brake master cylinder and the correct style (rear sump) oil pan. Everything else needed to complete this conversion is included in this package.

At Rod & Custom we use Autodesk CAD programs, both 2d and 3d/solid modeling.  FEA  (Finite Element Analysis) is also employed to assure our design is strong and safe.

Includes 1’’ powder coated sway bar with mounting brackets, mounting hardware, end links, Prothane bushings, and fasteners.

Left and right tower replacement panels.
New steering hook-up kit. Includes rack joint, column joint, and the  rack to column shaft, along with the column modification kit for the O.E. column users.
Springs and shocks rated to your application. Upgrade would include chrome springs and polished shocks. See related items.

Please note: Due to the front steer design of the MII front suspensions, the MII conversion will require the use of a rear sump pan. If you need help locating the correct pan for your swap give us a call!
